An automatic window shutter is a motorised system mounted in front of windows and doors whose slats coil into a box. It protects homes from the weather and provides acoustic insulation and security.

PU-filled aluminium slats coil onto a shaft inside the box above the window, controlled by tubular motor, cord or remote.
A command is given via remote, key or smart-home app.
The tubular motor turns the shaft and slats coil into the box.
When closing, slats descend in the guides and cover the window.
Intermediate positions allow light and air adjustment.
