How Does a Sliding Gate Motor Work?
The motor pinion engages a gear rack mounted on the gate leaf. As the motor turns, the leaf slides along the track; limit sensors define the open and closed positions.
A command is given by remote control or push button.
The motor pinion drives the leaf along the gear rack.
The leaf stops at the open position via the limit sensor.
When closing, the gate stops and reverses if an obstacle is detected.
